Work with us

We’re a cohesive Team with a Medical Director, General Practitioners, Pharmacist Prescriber, Physician Associates, Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Prescribers, Registered Nurses, dedicated Diabetes Nurses, Community Health Worker - outreach, Health Care Assistants, General Manager, Practice Manager, Doctor Liaison and Administrators, full and part time.

Patients have access to pharmacy, physiotherapy, X-ray / ultrasound and visiting specialists within the building and Pathlab next to us.

Our Casualty clinic, open 8.00am through 6.00pm Monday to Friday, services the community’s urgent medical and accident needs without appointment.

We hold a clinic at a local Marae one day every fortnight, and a clinic at a local school one day a week during the school term. We are also providers to Aged Care facilities in Te Awamutu and surrounds.

With a senior teaching fellow, our trainees are supported with regular scheduled teaching and supervisory sessions. Our senior teaching doctor is supported by a very collegial clinical and management team.

We encourage sharing, learning and furthering education. To support this, we provide weekly peer group CME sessions and monthly reviews of cases and diagnoses, as well as our scheduled teaching sessions.

Medtech Evolution is our practice management software of choice.

Our practice hours are Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm with afterhours cover for patients provided by Anglesea Clinic in Hamilton, ‘Practice Plus’ online consultations and Healthline - a free service on 0800 611 116.

  • high clinical competency & good communication skills will be essential for a good fit with our team
